Gloria W. Parker

I was born and raised in the South. Being born in Hot Springs, Arkansas and living in Texas, Florida and a few states in between, I've experienced a few different cultures in a few different ways. I am currently a high school guidance counselor in Little Rock, Arkansas, with experience ranging from 1st grade teacher to maximum security prison educator! I have a few experiences under my belt. I was raised with five brothers and sisters and never a hungry mouth after dinner. I have also worked for the Internal Revenue Service, but please do not hold that against me. I was just a single mom trying to support my family. My three children learned early to clear their plate, or someone else would. Those three children are all grown up now, and yes I am extremely proud of all of them. I look to every day seeing how I can enjoy every second of it, which I believe shines through in my kitchen. Every bite of my meals is an enjoyment, not just a meal.
